What We Do
There’s something for everyone at St Bridget Nurseries’ Garden Centres, whatever the season. To access our current plant and price list or see what products our routinely stocked in our garden centres, please click here. Additionally we are always changing our seasonal plants, products and offers so do keep popping in to see what is new. If you are looking for something specific please contact us in advance and we will happily reserve items (if available) to avoid disappointment.
We aim to make your visit enjoyable, both garden centres offer a wheelchair loan service*, some trolleys have child seats* in them and staff will always be delighted to help you and your purchases back to your vehicle – please just ask.
Both garden centres have a cafe – The Coffee House at Clyst St Mary and The Plantsmans Café at Old Rydon Lane. Both restaurants offer a daily menu of freshly prepared hot and cold dishes for lunch as well as light snacks, hot breakfasts, delicious cakes and hot and cold drinks (non-alcoholic), plus Sunday Lunches. In December we offer Christmas lunches – why not book your Christmas staff party? In addition, we have a franchise at each garden centre - Haven Conservatories at Old Rydon Lane and Country Garden Patio Centre at Clyst St Mary.
All our outdoor plant teams are trained or training in horticulture and will be pleased to answer your gardening questions, in addition see our leaflet section below for the many advice leaflets we have created and that can be picked up from our garden centres. We also keep a blog full of ideas and advice – why not e-mail us a question and we’ll blog the answer?
Finally, our nursery offers a hire service. Whether you are getting married or exhibiting at a show then you may want some plants to brighten up your space. We've worked with many themes across the years from "jungle" to "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and we can hire trees, large shrubs (like bay trees) to planted troughs. What is available depends on the time of year so please contact us with details of what you require and we will be pleased to quote, either e-mail sales@stbridgetnurseries.co.uk or call 01392 873672 and ask to speak to our nursery manager.
* Wheelchairs and child trolleys are limited in number and are offered on a first come first served basis for the period of your visit.
