Old Rydon Lane Garden Centre
Our Old Rydon Lane garden centre was one of the first centres to be opened in the country. It was also amongst the first to be nationally approved by the Garden Centre Association. This St. Bridget's garden centre has often been called the 'Gardener's Garden Centre' due to the huge range of quality home grown plants in the outdoor plant area.
We guarantee all our plants to be healthy and true to name and type. If any of our hardy plants or trees should fail within 12 months of purchase, provided they have been properly planted and cared for, we will be pleased to offer a free replacement under our 1 year hardy plant guarantee.
The centre has a friendly relaxed atmosphere reflecting the family nature of the company. There is a large covered area so you can enjoy the centre whatever the weather and if it does rain we even have some St. Bridget Nurseries umbrellas that you can borrow during your visit.
With pots of all shapes and sizes and our own brand compost (as used on our nursery) there's everything you need to make stunning container displays and if you don't fancy the work we'll even plant it up for you! There is also a huge indoor showroom dedicated to garden furniture. You'll find everything from hardwood teak to metal tables and chairs plus sun loungers and hammocks to create a truly relaxed garden.
Inside, the sundries shop there is an impressive range of garden tools, seeds, houseplants, gift cards, gardening books as well as everything you need to keep garden pests at bay!
Make it a day at the garden centre with a visit to our restaurant, The Plantsman's Café, for a delicious hot lunch or afternoon tea and then before you leave visit our concession, Haven Conservatories, who have a vast selection of conservatories to complete your outside home.
